For Mid Morning Snack:
We have packed Oranges in this Lunch Box, but you can pack any Seasonal Fruit or a fruit that you like in your Lunch Box. Fruits keeps us filling till our next meal and is also very nutritious. Oranges are rich in Vitamin C, therefore it is great to include it in your meals. Other than, we have some Nuts and Seeds that is kept handy to eat whenever you feel hungry.
You can pack Almonds, Pistachios, Walnuts, Pumpkin Seeds, Watermelon Seeds etc for your snacking in between the meals.
Here, in this Lunch Box we have packed a Iron Rich Keerai Sambar which is made in almost all the South Indian households. To make this sambar, you can use any Greens such as Amaranth Leaves, Spinach Leaves, Fenugreek Leaves etc. Along with this Sambar, pack Steamed Rice with a dollop of Ghee. You can also pack Elai Vadam, a South Indian Papad with this meal to add that extra crunch.
For Evening Snacks:
Here, we have packed Nutri Choice Digestive Zero Biscuits has zero added sugar, zero maida and is high on Fibre making it a very convenient snack along with some green tea or on its own. It is not only healthy but tasty also and pairs really well with your evening Masala Chai or Adrak Chai.
